Students from Technische Hochschule Georg Agricola started their graduation field work in CUMT

On May 9, 2010, eighteen teachers and students from Technische Hochschule Georg Agricola (Germany) headed by Prof. Otto Frank arrived in CUMT and started one-week graduation field work. This is the first student exchange program among members of International Higher Education Alliance for Mining, Energy and Environment since its establishment last year.

On May 10, the delegation visited CUMTs Key Lab of Coalbed Methane Resources and Reservoir Formation Process, CUMTs library, China Coal Science and Technology Museum, School of Geosciences and Sino-German Center. CUMTs long-standing history, abundant teaching resources, excellent teaching staff and outstanding research achievements left a deep impression to the delegation.

It is reported that the delegation will also attend the field practices together with the teachers and students from CUMTs School of Geosciences, and visit Coal Subsidence Reclamation Project of Jiuli District, XCMG Construction Machinery etc.
