Top design of European Product Design Award
Winner of European Product Design Award
Gold Award of the 25th International Bicycle Design Competition
Recently, the graduate students of Industrial Design Program of School of Architecture and Design have won three top designs and three winners of European Product Design Award, and one gold award in the 25th International Bicycle Design Competition.
The first work that won the top design of European Product Design Award is “Bell Camera For Camping Security” designed by Hu Zhongliang under the guidance of Professor Yao Jun, which is a monitoring and lighting device designed for camping safety. The other two works are “Abrasion Emergency Bruse Stick” and “Unraveling the Mystery” designed by Lv Jiaxin under the guidance of Associate Professor Zhu Zhaohua. The former is an emergency brush stick designed for outdoor sports enthusiasts to solve the emergency care of outdoor injuries, while the latter is a unique coffee gift box incorporating the Mona Lisa pixel painting.
The first work that won winner of European Product Design Award is “Versa Chair”, a multifunctional lightweight outdoor folding chair designed by Wang Jiupeng under the guidance of Associate Professor Zong Wei, which can provide users with a variety of different ways to use the chair. The second work is “Polar Bear Dehumidifier”, a dehumidifier designed by Ji Wenxuan under the guidance of Associate Professor Zhu Zhaohua, which reminds people of the protection of animals and the environment with the image of a polar bear. The third work is “China Embroidery & Paper Letters”, designed by Yufei Gao under the guidance of Associate Professor Zhu Zhaohua, which is a letterhead design that combines traditional Chinese embroidery techniques.
The work that won Gold Award in the 25th Global Bicycle Design Competition is “BONUS COMMUTING AND FITNESS DUAL PURPOSE BICYCLE” designed by Jie Zhang under the guidance of Professor Yao Jun, which combines the functions of commuting and fitness, and creates a variety of cycling scenarios for users.
