On May 11, with the strong support of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the China-CEEC Technology Transfer Center successfully held “The 1st China-CEEC Conference on Technology Cooperation and Exchange” in Nanjing, Jiangsu. Chen Linhao, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology, attended the conference online and delivered a speech, and Wang Qin, Director of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology, attended the conference offline. Nearly 50 representatives from government departments of science and technology, universities, scientific research institutions, and high-tech enterprises from 12 Central and Eastern European countries under the framework of the China-CEEC cooperation mechanism shared cooperation cases with participating representatives from universities and enterprises in Jiangsu, released cooperation needs, and carried out cloud negotiation.
At the conference, CUMT’s “CEEC International Joint Research Center for New Energy Electric Vehicle Technology and Equipment” was included in the first batch of partners of the “China-CEEC Technology Transfer Center” by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the P.R.C. Vice President Bian Zhengfu, on behalf of CUMT, signed university-level agreements with Polytechnic Institute of Setubal in Portugal, West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, Poland, St. Ivan Rilski University of Mining and Geology in Sofia, Bulgaria, and the University of Žilina in Slovakia on co-building the “Joint Laboratory for New Energy Power Generation and Electric Vehicle International Cooperation”. Professor Chen Hao, Director of the Center, introduced the cooperation outcomes between the Center and institutions in Central and Eastern European countries over the past 20 years.
The “CEEC International Joint Research Center for New Energy Electric Vehicle Technology and Equipment” , as a well-known scientific research platform of CUMT, it will contribute to international joint innovation in the field of new energy power generation and electric vehicles, and become a highland for cultivating talents in scientific and technological innovation.
