AEMG Vice President Andrew Roberts made some remarks

On the afternoon of June 26, AEMG Vice President Andrew Roberts, together with Fan Mingqu, Director of AEMG China, and Duan Yucai, Assistant President and Director of Global Affairs & Partnerships (China), visited CUMT. They held a meeting with President Song Xuefeng, Vice President Bian Zhengfu, as well as relevant heads from Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs, Graduate School, International Office, School of Mechanics and Civil Engineering, and International College.

In his opening remarks, President Song Xuefeng expressed his gratitude to AEMG for their long-term support for the internationalization of CUMT, and congratulated AEMG on its achievements in recent years. He said that CUMT and AEMG, as important partners to each other, enjoy a solid foundation for cooperation and a promising future for mutual development. It is hoped that both institutions can deepen their cooperation in more areas with more projects so as to contribute to the internationalization of CUMT.

Andrew Roberts introduced AEMG’s cooperation models, overseas partners, and experiences and achievements in joint educational programs in recent years. He said that AEMG will deepen cooperation with CUMT in talent cultivation and joint educational programs to drive the internationalization of CUMT.  

Both parties had extensive discussions about potential areas of cooperation. This meeting has deepened partnership and friendship of both institutions, and has laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.
