Visit to the National University Science Park
On January 22, the Chairman of the Chinese Strait Youth Entrepreneurship Association of Taiwan, Qin Yongheng, along with his colloeague, visited our university. They were accompanied by Director Jiang Ming and Deputy Director Lü Yadong from the Xuzhou Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office, among others.
Qin Yongheng and his colleague first visited the Student Innovation Training Center. Director Li Wei introduced the center, particularly highlighting its research in areas such as intelligent electromechanical equipment, machine vision applications, fault diagnosis, and life prediction technologies. The delegation was also shown the advanced 3D printing technology available at the university.
The delegation then proceeded to the National University Science Park. In his introduction, General Manager Yang Deli noted that as an "A-Class" (excellent) national university science park, it has, over the years, cumulatively incubated 887 technology enterprises, hosted 39 research platforms, nurtured 83 national high-tech enterprises, and seen 18 companies listed on Stock Exchanges. The delegation also visited the Jiangsu Huaihai Technology Property Rights Trading Center, where they learned the role of the center in bridging the gap between university research outcomes and corporate technological needs.
CUMT President's Office Director, Qu Song, and the Director of the Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs Office, Chen Wen, accompanied the delegation.
