Initiated by Shandong Energy Xinwen Mining Group Co., Ltd (SEXMG) and led by the project leader Professor Zhang Jixiong of China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT), the seminar was held in Tai’an, Shandong Province.
More than 130 experts, scholars and leading researchers attended the seminar. Attendees included leaders of relevant departments such as the Administrative Center for China's Agenda in 21st Century, China National Coal Association (CNCA), academics of Chinese Academy of Engineering like CaiMeifeng and Kang Hongpu, renowned scholars fromuniversities such as CUMT, Zhengzhou University, CUMT (Beijing), University Of Science & Technology Beijing, Shandong University of Science and Technology, Liaoning Technical University, experts and leading researchers from China Coal Technology Engineering Group, The State Key Laboratory of Geomechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, Ji’nan Design and Research Institute Co. Ltd. Of Coal Industry and China PingMeiShenMa Group.
The following resolutions were noted for implementation:
Support for the completion of the project in the light of the “Double First-Class” construction plan
Affirmation for the significance of the project from the perspective of national energy development trend and environmental protection
Proposal that the project be fully utilized as an opportunity for the cultivation of young talent
Explanation of the relevant policies and strategic orientations of the National In-Depth Special Layout and Process Management
Research strategy of the project
Implementation plan of key technical issues, assessment indicators, evaluation system, project schedule, long-term management mechanism
Base construction of fund-supporting and engineer demonstration
This project, "Exploration and Exploitation of Deeply Deposited Resources", was Approved in 2018 as a specific project of the national key R&D plan. It aims to study the key technical bottlenecks of intelligent separation and in-situ filling in underground mines kilometers deep. It is expected to make significant breakthroughs in theory, technology and equipment of underground full-grain water medium separation, surrounding rock control of super-large cross-section dense chamber group, gangue filling and stratum control. Tow demonstration projects will be built to guide the technological progress of intelligent separation and filling mining in deep coal mines.
