The cloud platform for multi-parameter comprehensive early warning of rockburst

The cloud platform for multi-parameter comprehensive early warning of rockburst, jointly developed by the CUMT rockburst research team led by Professor Dou Linming from School of Mines and Xuzhou Hongyi Company, won the Gold Medal at the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva. The exhibition, founded in 1973, is co-hosted by the Swiss Federal Government, government of the Canton of Geneva, and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). It is one of the longest-running, largest-scale, and most influential invention exhibitions globally. This year, more than a thousand patented inventions and innovative technologies from over 50 countries and regions were exhibited in the event. Experts from WIPO and the European Patent Office evaluated the patent technologies and awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals accordingly.

This award signifies that the CUMT rockburst research team, after years of dedicated effort, has become top in the world in the field of intelligent risk identification and multi-parameter comprehensive early warning of rockburst disasters. The multi-parameter comprehensive early warning technology has been adopted by more than 50% of rockburst-prone mines in China operated by Xuzhou Coal Mining Group, Chinacoal Datun Energy, Longmay Mining Holding Group Co., Ltd Jixi subsidiary, Hegang subsidiary and Shuangyashan subsidiary, ZTHC Energy, Shenyang Coal Mining Group, Liaoning Tiefa Energy Co., Ltd, Huating Coal Industry Group Co., Ltd, Qingyang Coal and Power Co., Ltd, Jingyuan Coal Group Co., Ltd, Yaojie Coal and Electricity Group Corporation, Tongchuan Mining Co., Ltd, Pubai Mining Co., Ltd, Shaanxi Binchang Mining Group Co., Ltd, Ningxia Coal Industry Co., Ltd, Zhundong Coal and Electricity Co., Ltd.. This technology enables rockburst-prone coal mines to operate in a more intelligent way and enhances their comprehensive early warning capabilities.
