On June 25 to 27, China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT) hosted the 2019 International Mine Ventilation Forum (IMVF 2019) in Xuzhou.

The Forum was well attended by ventilation specialists and professionals from China, United States, Canada, Australia and Poland. Participants include the chairman of the Organizing Committee and members of the Executive Committee of the International Mine Ventilation Congress, representatives of the Chinese Industry Association, engineers and scholars from key mine enterprises, universities and research institutions, as well as stakeholders from other sectors associated with mine ventilation industry. The Forum discussed opportunities and challenges, key technologies and critical issues in modern mine ventilation. Participants shared knowledge and experience towards future mine ventilation. Upon consultation with delegates, the organizing committee of the Forum put forward the "International Mine Ventilation Forum (IMVF 2019) Initiative".

Scene of the Forum

The Forum calls on more close collaborations and exchanges between scholars, experts and professional ventilation engineers engaging in mine ventilation and safety services from different countries, so as to integrate and maximize the use of resource and funding for synchronized technological innovations.
