On September 11, 2015, Prof. Andrzej Tytko, vice-president of AGH University of Science and Technology(Poland) and Assistant president Stanislaw Nawrat visited CUMT. President Ge Shirong and Assistant president Zhou Guoqing met with the delegation.

On the meeting, two sides exchanged information about intelligent exploitation on coal mine and recycling energy, deeply discussed and agreed on the future cooperation, including AGH joining the International Higher Education Alliance for Mining, Energy and Environment, jointly hosting 2016 International Green Mining Conference, mutual visits by laboratory teachers and scholars. In addition, both sides agreed to implement joint educational programs soon, including Sino-European Credit Scholarship Program supported by China Scholarship Council, Sino-Polish Educational Exchange Program, AGH Staff Short-term Research in CUMT, Study-in-CUMT Scholarship Program,and CUMT Undergraduate Study Abroad Program.

On September 12, the gusts visited the State Key Lab of Coal Resources and Safe Mining.
