On March 14th, Prof. Peter Halley, director of the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Queensland(UQ), Professor Peter Hayes, Faculty of Engineering and Ms. Li Lu, commissioner of the International Affairs of the Department of the Faculty of Engineering visited CUMT.

Mr. Zhang Zhenkang, director of the International Office of CUMT, briefly introduced the history, leading disciplines and international cooperation and exchanges of CUMT. He also reviewed the history of cooperation between two universities. Professor Peter Halley said that he is very glad to visit CUMT and willing to cooperate with CUMT in more areas. On the meeting, the two sides had an in-depth exchanges and discussion on the 3+1+1 project, 2+2 project, outstanding undergraduates short-term study project, doctoral students joint training project, etc.
