On April 29th, 2015, the delegation from University of Kentucky (UK), one of the co-organizers of the 7th Conference of International Mining Science and Technology, visited CUMT.

Zhang Wanhong, assistant president of CUMT met with the delegation. Directors of International College, Teaching Affairs Office, Personnel Department and International Office attended the meeting.

Zhang Wanhong expressed his sincere appreciation for Professor G.T. Lineberry’s endeavor and contribution in promoting the close collaboration between CUMT and UK. Professor G.T. Lineberry reviewed the cooperation history of both sides and spoke highly of exchange students and teachers sent by CUMT. He also showed his willingness to promote ongoing cooperation.

The two sides further discussed about deepening educational cooperation, and expanding teachers and students’ exchange projects etc. Both sides decided to enhance mutual visits, create more opportunities for cooperation in scientific research and attract more experts to give lessons and lectures in CUMT.
